Questions authors ask

Do you take a share of my royalties?

No. Your books are published in your own store accounts, so every royalty payment goes straight to you. You pay only for the services you book.

Who owns the files and the rights?

You do. Your rights stay with you throughout, and once the final invoice is paid you receive your finished ebook, print, and cover files to use however you like.

How do ISBNs work?

US authors buy ISBNs from Bowker, the official US agency, in their own name. A pack of ten usually covers a book's ebook and print editions, with room for future books. We handle assigning them and filling in the details in your account. You can also use the free ISBNs from KDP or Draft2Digital, but those list the platform as publisher and can't be moved to other stores. We'll explain the trade-off for your book.

Should my book be in Kindle Unlimited or sold wide?

Kindle Unlimited requires your ebook to be exclusive to Amazon, in exchange for page-read income and promotional tools. Going wide puts your book on Apple Books, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, and more. The right choice depends on your genre and readers, and we can walk you through it in a consult.

How long does it take?

Formatting and covers usually take one to three weeks. A full Manuscript to Market project typically takes six to ten weeks, depending on the editing your book needs. Your quote includes a schedule.

You're based in India. How does working together work?

Everything happens over email, shared documents, and video calls booked in your time zone. Because of the time difference, work often moves forward overnight for you. Invoices are in US dollars.

How does payment work?

Half the project price is due to begin, and the rest is due on delivery, before final files are handed over. Monthly marketing services are billed at the start of each month and can be cancelled anytime.
